Training Courses

We offer a full range of training courses in Microsoft Applications and the Adobe creative suite catering for all skill levels from those just starting out through to the many advanced features of individual software packages. With the basic applications such as Excel and Word, through to advanced Access database development and Publications to Graphic design.

The Training Day

Each course is an instructor lead hands-on session for up to six delegates. Larger groups can be handled but not advised as they can dilute the hands-on value of the sessions. Each one-day session covers one level of a software application and involves six hours of classroom time, excluding the breaks. A comprehensive course handbook and a certificate of attendance is provided for each delegate to take away.

Although we can provide predefined courses for each level of every application we also offer the ability to design and custom courses that are tailored especially for your employees requirements. Please see course outlines for details and contact us for further information.

Focus Day(s) consist of one hour session's throughout the day delivering content of your choice which allow delegate's to pick which one hour session they wish to attend and then to return back to their work. This can be a very cost effect way for a company who have people with varying levels of expertise but wish to extend their knowledge base.


At Your Offices or Venue near you

The majority of the courses offered can be delivered onsite at customers own business premises or a location near you (room hire charges would apply in that case).

On site courses can prove to be a very cost effective way for organisations to put several employees through a single course at the same time. Running the course at your premises typically provides cost benefits when there are at least six employees who need training simultaneously, significantly reducing expenditure on travel and accommodation.

General Information

Most of us use some applications on a daily basis to perform the same task, often performing tasks in a long-winded or time consuming manner. In Excel and Word particularly, there are a huge array of tools and functions that give the user the ability to improve efficiency and to perform some complex tasks, over and above writing a letter or adding up numbers. With every new version released a new batch of tools and functionality are added, but we rarely acquaint ourselves with these as we continue to do things the way we always have.

By investing a small amount of time in finding out exactly what an application can do, you should start reaping the rewards immediately, whether that means creating a more professional looking letter or mailshot in half the time, spread sheets that calculate complex formulae and translate results into meaningful business data, creating an in-house marketing database, or designing your own marketing and presentation materials.
