Adobe Illustrator CS6 Introduction The Subject Adobe Illustrator is a sophisticated graphics program capable of creating complex and attractive illustrations and type effects. You might need to create logos, advertisements and other illustrations in Illustrator. If you have little or no experience with Illustrator, it can be overwhelming to start creating complex illustrations. In this course, you'll start by drawing and manipulating simple shapes to create logos. You'll also combine text and graphics to create advertisements. Pre-Requisites Before taking this course, you should have a basic understanding of your computer's operating system. For example, you should know how to launch an application, create and save files, and copy files from CD and other media. Course Objective You will use Illustrator to create illustrations, such as logos and advertisements that include type and graphics. Adobe Illustrator CS6 Advanced Course Description You have probably used Illustrator to create simple illustrations and logos. However, you may now need to expand on those skills to create more complex illustrations, you may need a better understanding of how to print your documents without any errors or colour mismatches, or you may need to prepare illustrations for the Web. In this course, you will create complex, robust illustrations that go beyond those you could create using Illustrator's basic tools. Course Objective You will create complex illustrations, control colour across a range of devices, and control how illustrations print and appear on the Web.
